Ronald Nap

I am a master's student studying Data Science at UC Berkeley. Before that, I studied Applied Math at UC Merced and conducted research in the Computational Optimization Group under Professor Roummel Marcia applying deep learning to medical imaging. Currently, I am interning at Valeo as a Machine Learning Software Engineer as part of the Driving Assistance Research (DAR) Team.

My background enables me to build machine learning models end-to-end, read academic literature, and implement state-of-the-art models. I have a keen interest in computer vision and look forward to contributing to the data-driven industry, connecting with professionals, and learning about the vast potential of machine learning!
